Venugopal emphasized the party's commitment to fortifying its connection with the public and presenting a unified front in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections to challenge the BJP government.
AICC General Secretary in-charge for Chhattisgarh, Kumari Selja, acknowledged the unexpected final results but asserted that the party had not lost its vote share. Despite the disappointment, Selja expressed confid🔥ence in the Congress's ability to perform better in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, citing sustained public trust.
In the Madhya Pradesh review meeting, AICC general secretary in-charge Randeep Surjewala, PCC president Kamal Nath, former chief minister Diꦯgvijaya Singh, and AICC screening committee head Jitendra Singh were among the prominent leaders present. Surjewala disclosed that leaders openly discussed the reasons for the party's defeat, authorizing Congress president Kharge to decide on strengthening the organization.
