A man, approximately 30 years old, fell into a 40-foot-deep borewell at a Delhi Jal Board water treatment plant in west Delhi's Keshopur Mandi area. The incident triggered a nearly 12-hour-long rescue operation led by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the Delhi Fire Services (D♓FS).

Water Minister Atishi shared the unfortunate news o🦂n social media, expressing sadness about the man's demise. In a post on X, Atishi stated, "It is with great sadness I share the news tha🃏t the man who fell into the borewell has been found dead by the rescue team." The victim's identity remains unknown, and the circumstances leading to the incident are under investigation by the police.

According to Atishi, "How he entered the borewell room, how he fe𝔉ll inside the borewell – this will be investigated by the police. I thank the NDRF team who made every possible effort in the rescue operationཧ for many hours." At around 1 am, information was received about the person falling into the borewell at the DJB plant.
