Barricades outside the UK High Commission in Delhi were missing on Wednesday morning, in what is being seen as a retaliation to the Khalistani protests at Indian High Commission in London. The action comes days after some pro-Khalistan elements pulled down the Indian Tricolour at the Indian mission in London ami🃏d a police action against Amritpal Singh.

"The security arrangements outside the British💯 High Commission here are intact. However, barricades placed on the pathway towards the Commission that created hurdles for👍 commutation have been removed," a senior police officer told PTI.

India on Sunday night summoned the Britꦅish deputy high commissioner and demanded an explanation over the complete "absence of security" after vid♌eos of the vandalism and pulling down of the Indian flag at the high commission emerged on social media.

Top British officials said that the UK government will take the security of the Indian mission "seriously" and condemned the inci♔dent as &💦quot;disgraceful" and "completely unacceptable".

Similar protests and vandalism were also seen at the Indiꦇan Consulate in San Francisco, prompting sharp condemnation from Indian Americans who demanded immediate action against those responsible for it.

Notably, several accounts of pro-Khalistani leaders have been blocked in India following protests over the crackdown against separatist leader Amritpal 🍬Singh.

Accounts including that of Canada's New Democratic Party leader Jagmeet Singh, Canadian poet Rupi Kaur, the voluntary organisation United Sikhs, and Canada-based activist Gurdeep Singh Sahota have been blocked.
