Kate Micucci, who portrayed Lucy in famous show ‘Big Bang Theor🀅y’ has revealed that she has been diagnosed with lung cancer. The 43 years old actor and comedian took to social media to share an update about her undergoing surgery.
In a TikTok video that she shared, she said “This is not a Ti💮kTok, this is a SickTok”. “I had lung cancer su🐻rgery yesterday, they caught it really early”, Micucci said in the video recorded from the hospital. “It’s really weird because I have never smoked a cigarette in my life, so you know, it was a surprise.”
The performer, who has voiced animated characters on shows including "Steven Universe," "Milo Murphy's Law," and "Scooby-Doo," in ℱaddition to her role as Lucy on "The Big Bang Theory," has 👍also been seen on "Scrubs" and "Will & Grace."
Micucci said that she is cannot wait to return to painting 𝐆but that sh𝔉e would be moving slowly for the next few weeks. She often posts pictures of her original cartoons on social media.
In addition to her career as an actor, M🧜icucci is one half of the musical comedy duo Garfunkel a🌌nd Oates, which she performs with Riki Lindhome.
Micucci returned to the CBS sitco✨m in seasons six, seven, and ten as Lucy, the love interest of Kunal Nayyar's character Raj. Her most recent casting was as a voice actor for the upcoming animated television series, Angry Birds Mystery Island. NBC's Four Kings, Scrubs, Raising Hope, Steven Universe, How I Met Your Mother, and Malcolm in the Middle are just a few of her other credits.
