After indictment last month, former US President𒊎 Donald Trump will be produced in court on Tuesday.

In a post 🍌on Truth Social, Trump on Monday said that he would be travelling from his Florida residence to New York City on Monday, following which he would go 💙to the court on Tuesday.

Separately, Trump's office on Sunday said he would deliver remarks at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida on Tuesday night, his office said on Sun꧟day.

"(Formᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚer) President Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America, will deliver remarks at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 8:15PM EDT," said Trump's presidential campaign on Sunday.

Trump, 76, is expected to make a court appearance in Manhat🐓tan earlier in th♒e day. A federal grand jury had indicted him last week.

Following the indictಌment, Trump has been attacking both the prosecutor and the judge.

"The Judge 'assigned' to my Witch Hunt Case, a 'Case' that has nevꩲer been charged before, hates me," Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform and allegeꦫd that the judge was "hand picked" by the Democratic district attorney investigating him.

The case relates to a 'hush money' payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels on behalf of Trump in the run-up to 2016 US presidential election. Daniels has alꦗleged that she had an affair and a consensual sexual encounter with Trump in 2006. Trump ♈denies this. However, to keep her silent ahead of the 2016 presidential election that he eventually won, $130,000 were paid to Daniels via the then-Trump lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen. Cohen was later reimbursed for the payment.

Such hu🥂sh payments are not illegal and the payment itself is not under investigation. It is alleged that the way the payment was made and the way it was reim🃏bursed to Cohen violated campaign finance laws. The case, therefore, is about the allegations that the transactions were wrongfully and falsely fed into account books of Trump businesses.

Indictment is the very first stage of a court case. As per an explainer by MSNBC, following an indic⛦tment, a judge will issue a warrant and then Trump will be taken into custody for finger-prints and other formalities, following which he would appear in court. He would either be jailed or released.
