Indian-American engineer Hirsh Vardhan Singh has announced that he will be running for President in the 2024 elections in the United States representing the Republicans. He becom🌌es the third person of I🦹ndian origin after Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy.
Singh took to Twitter to announce this news throu🌄gh a shoꦯrt video, as he said that he has been a "lifelong Republican'' and an "America First" conservative who has worked to restore a conservative wing of the New Jersey Republican Party.
In the video, Singh said, "We need strong leadership to reverse the changes that have occurred in the past few years and restore American values. That is why Iꦯ have decided to seek the Republican Party’s nomination for the 2024 election for the office of💎 president of the United States."
According to the ꧑reports, Singh officially filed his candidacy with the Federal Election Commission on T💯hursday.
Singh also ca💖lled himself the “only pureblood candidate” because he “never𒈔 gave in to the COVID vaccinations."
He also𝕴 said, "There's an all-out attack on American family values, parental rights and the marketplace of ideas and open debates. We need strong leadership to reverse the changes that have occurred in the past few years and restore American values. That is why I have decided to seek the Republican Party’s nomination for the 2024 election for the office of president of the United States."🦹;
Singh said, "While President Trump was undoubtedly the greatest president of my lifetime, and had my support♈ as a MAGA Republican since Day 1, America needs more."
“My record as a strong-willed Republican goes back to my university days when I joined the Young Americans for Liberty. In the recent past, I opposed the policies that seek to entangle us in another world war, led the fight against economic loc𓆏kdowns and led huge protest rallies against compulsory vaccinations,” he further added in the vi♍deo message.
Prior to Singh, former South Carolina Governor Haley, 51, and millionaire entre🎐preneur Ramaswamy, 37, announced their cand𒁃idacy from the Republican Party for the top US post earlier this year.
They will contest against former US p🥂resident Donald Trump, who is leading in the race for the Republican Party's nomination for 2024 despite the legal challenges he is facing.
According to the reports, the Republicans will meet in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, f🐼rom July 15-18, 2024, for their national convention to formally select their party’s neꦅxt presidential nominee.
Hirsh Vardhan Singh ran in the Republican primaries for governor of New Jersey in 2017 and 2021, for a House seat in 2018 and for 🦄Senate in🀅 2020 but was unsuccessful in winning the Republican Party's nomination, according to the reports.
In his most recent run for governor, he campaigned as a more conservative option more closely aligned with former president Trump than the ev🥀entual nominee, Jack Ciattarelli, but hཧe came in third for the nomination.
Singh is one of several long-shot candidates in the race, including former Cranston, Rhode Island, 🍌Mayor Steve Laffey, Michigan businessman Perry Johnson and Texas pastor Ryan Binkley, reportedly.
