🃏 While the majority of exit polls show BJP having an edge to grab the chair in Delhi, only two predict AAP maintaining its hold in the national capital.

🌳As Delhi concluded the voting for the 2025 Assembly Elections on Wednesday evening, the exit polls started showing the trends.  Most exit polls suggest a narrow lead for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), with Congress expected to make no significant gains.

🐻According to the Matrize exit poll, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is projected to win between 35 and 40 seats, while AAP may secure 32 to 37 seats. The Congress is expected to win only 0-1 seats.

In contrast, the People’s Pulse exit poll predicted a wider margin, with the NDA possibly securing 51 to 60 seats and AAP only managing 10 to 19 seats. It also forecast that Congress ༺would fail to open its account in the Delhi assembly.

Chanakya has predicted that the BJP 𒅌may win 39-44 Assembly seats, while AAP is projected to secure just 25-28 constituencies. For Congress, the agency has predicted 2-3 seats where the party has been out of power for 10 years since AAP took over.

꧙The People’s Insight exit poll gave the NDA between 40 and 44 seats, AAP between 25 and 29, and Congress between 0 and 1 seat.

☂The P-Marq exit poll projected the BJP and its allies winning 39 to 49 seats, with AAP securing 21 to 31 seats and Congress again predicted to win 0-1 seats.

🔯Similarly, the JVC exit poll suggested the NDA could win 39 to 45 seats, AAP between 22 and 31, and Congress between 0 and 2.

🉐Only two poll agencies -- Mind Brink and WeePreside -- have predicted AAP's win. Mind Brink has predicted 44-49 seats for the AAP, while it predicts BJP winning 21-25 seats. The Congress is predicted to win only 1 seat.

🌱WeePreside, has also predicted victory for AAP with its seat count anywhere between 46-52, while it predicts that the BJP will win 18-23 seats. It also predicts only one seat for the Congress.

The AAP has, however, rejected the exit poll trends, stating that historically exit polls never predict them winning. “You look at any exit poll historically, AAP is always given a smaller number of seats, whether its 2013, 2015 or 2020. But whatever is shown, AAP gets a lot a greater number of seats in reality. AAP will register a historic victory, and Arvind Kejriwal will become CM for the fourth time,” AAP leader Reena Gupta told PTI.

ꦫExit polls, based on interviews with voters as they leave polling stations, provide a projection of the election outcome but often differ from the actual results. This time, some of the famous exit polls have distanced themselves from predicting results. If this year’s exit poll come true, the BJP will break its 27-years long jinx of not winning Delhi.

🌼With a total of 70 seats in the Delhi assembly, a majority requires 36 seats. Currently, AAP holds a strong majority with 62 seats, while the BJP has just eight and Congress holds none.

🎃The Delhi assembly polls on Wednesday saw a voter turnout of nearly 58 per cent, with 1.55 crore eligible voters in the capital. The Election Commission will declare the official results on February 8.
