Speaking on the occasion, Suzuki Motorcycle India’s executive vice-ℱpresident of sales and marketing Sajeev Rajasekharan said, “Gixxe﷽r is the perfect embodiment of sportiness and the spirit of youthfulness that the brand stands for. As a product, both the Gixxer and Gixxer SF are known to be meant for those who believe in riding ahead of the pack; and are a benchmark for the segment. With the new 2018 series, this exciting ride is set to continue.”
So what's changed? Not much, really. Both models now come with new graphics and ECSTAR (official lubricant partner) logo on them. Additional changes include new colour options - red, silver and black💖. Other than that, the bikes remain mechanically and cosmetically unchanged.
Both the bikes are powered by a 155cc, air-coo꧟led, single-cylinder engine which produces 14.8PS of power and 14Nm of torque. We really liked this engine ✨in our road test review.
The Gixxer series continues to use the same diamond-typeꩲ frame which is suspended on front telescopic forks and a monoshock unit at the back. Braking is handled via disc brakes on either ends. However, the Gixxer SF gets the added advantage of a single-channel ABS unit.
