W♚hile the government hasn’t announced any GST cuts for automobiles, it did announce variou♑s corporate tax cuts in a bid to revive the economy. Following the announcement, Maruti Suzuki has decided to extend an added discount of Rs 5,000 on most of their model range on top of ongoing offers this festive season.

The new offer extends 🌃to all variants of the Alto 800, Alto K10, Celerio, Ignis, Vitara Brezza, S-Cross and diesel variants of the Swift, Dzire, Dzire Tour S and Baleno. The revised ex-showroom prices will be applicable from 25 September 2019 onwards. However, the WagonR, Ciaz, Ertiga, XL6 and petrol variants of select models won’t be enjoying the added discount.

*Maruti’s fleet offering the Dzire Tour S’ diesel variant will now be priced at Rs 6.56 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai൲).

Maruti is amongst the worst affected by the ongoing downturn in the automotive industry with year-on-year sales reflecting the declining numbers. These discounts and incentives are all part of the carmaker's a🐠ttempt to try and revive demand.
