Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in 2018, and 🃏since then, the American singer has often been called as ‘Nick jiju’ by the Indian fans. In fact, during his visits to Mumbai, the India paparazzi address him as ‘jiju’.
Now, in a recent chat with BBC Asian Network, the singer laughed when the interviewer asked him if she, too, could call him ‘jiju’, which means ‘brother-in-law’. Nick then quipped, “A lot of people do (call me jiju).” The singer even said that during his recent visit to India, where he joined💝 Priyanka Chopra at the launch event of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, “all the photographers on the red carpet were calling me jiju.”
The host then showed him another clip from the red car♌pet, where one of the shutterbugs can be heard saying, ‘Ae Nickua…’ Nick then mentioned, “Yes, I did hear that.” He added, “It was very good to be back. I love India. It has been a couple of years since I’ve been there because of Covid, so this was a really fun trip. So y🍰es, great to hear the many nicknames I have now.”
Nick further talked about his love for Indian food, and said that h💞e would pick jalebi and samosa over gulab jamun and spring roll.
Nick Jonas has currently been promoting his upcoming album with the Jonas Brothers, titled ‘The Albu♎m’. He was last seen in a cameo in Priyanka’s latest Hollywood movie, ‘Love Again’.
