On the occasion of Indepಌendence Day 2023, Kiara Advani paid a visit to the Border Security Force (BSF) in Amritsar, as part of being a guest on NDTV’s show ‘Jai Jawan’. She also spent time with 🦹soldiers stationed at the India-Pakistan border. .
During her interaction with the soldiers present there, Kiara shared an intriguing anecdote from her 2021 film ‘Sherꦕshaah’, in which she starred alongside husband and actor Sidharth Malhotra.
I🎶n ‘Shershaah’, Sidharth Maꦇlhotra was seen playing Captain Vikram Batra, and the film revolves around the martyr's life. Kiara recalled that during the film’s shoot when Sidharth, who was in uniform, wiped off dust from his clothes for a retake, the Indian Army officers present on set were not too happy, and advised him not to do so.
Recounting the same, Kiara said, “I remember one in🐼cident that Sidharth told me from ‘Shers🧔haah’. After a shot, he started wiping off the dust from his uniform and the real officers were with him at the time, they asked him, ‘Why are you wiping it off? Ye toh humari desh ki mitti hai. It’s our pride.'”
‘Shershaah’, a biographical film based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, focused on how he lost his life in the Kargil War. Captain Batra was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra. Directed by Vishnuvardhan, the film was 🀅backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment. Kiara essayed the role of Vikram Batra’s girlfriend, Dimple Cheema, in ‘Shershaah’.
It was during the fi✤lm’s shoot, Sidharth and Kiara’s bond grew, eventually leading to their relationship and, later, marriage on Feb🦩ruary 7, 2023.
On the professional front, the actress was last seen in ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ with Kartik Aaryan. She is also rumoured to be part of the action t▨hriller ‘War 2’, and is all set to feature in a Telugu film titled ‘Game Changer’, co-starring Ram Charan.
