Much-loved Bollywood couple Kareena Kapoor and Saiﷺf Ali Khan have often spoken about sharing parenting responsibilities for their ▨sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan.
Now, in a new interview, Kareena mentioned how balancing her personal and professional life is like ‘standing on one leg’. Speaking to Variety about her new projects, including Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’ and Hansal Mehta’s murder m෴ystery tentatively titled ‘The Buckingham Murders’, Kareena opened up on creating a work-life balance.
“It’s literally like standing on one leg, but I’m pretty good at yoga. I’m also very lucky to have a hღusband who works in the same profession. We take turns as to when we have to travel.” Kareena said, adding that she is blessed to have staff that supports them.
Kareena also shared how 🔜when she was shooting for Hansal’s project, Saif was at home with their kids. Now that Saif is filming in Amritsar, Kareena wil🅰l be at home till March. “And then after that, he finishes and stays home, and then I go into The Crew (Rhea Kapoor’s production, also starring Tabu and Kriti Sanon). It’s a lot of meticulous planning, but if you’re well-planned, I think you can achieve it,” Kareena maintained.
The actress also stated how she has realised that kids only expect quality time with parents, and not quantity. She said, “It’s not the quantity of time that you spend with your children, that’s what I’ve learned, in the five-six years that I’ve been a parent, it’s the quality of time that you give them without distr🌠action, because children want focus from their parents, from their teachers from their friends, that’s what they need.”
Lastly, calling ‘The Devotion of Suspect X ‘dramatically different’ from Hansal Mehta, Kareena signed off, “For me, it’s very different because obviously you’re used to seeing me in all the mainstream movies, which have the song, the dance, the gloss, the glamour. Both these films are shockingly 𝕴different.”
Kareena and Saif 𓂃have two sons, six-year-old Taimur and Jeh, who’s almost three now.
