Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava, which released on February 14, is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. The film witnessed a massive drop in its collections on Day 11 and 12, but on Day 13, on the occasion of Maha Shivratri, Chhaava's earnings saw a growth of 24.32%. It collected Rs 23 crore, taking the total box office collection of Chhaava to Rs 386.25 crore net in India, as per a repoꦅrt in Sacnilk. It is now a few crores short to enter the Rs 400 crore clu🐽b and is likely to achieve the milestone today, on Day 14.
Chhaava had an occupancy ꦫof 34.43% in the Hindi market on Wednesday, with a maximum occupancy of 40.64% during the afternoon shows and a minimum occupancy during the morning shows, which was 25.23%.
Chhaava has already crossed the Rs 500 crore mark globally. ▨The worldwide co🌟llection of the period drama stands at Rs 540.35 crore on its 13th day.
With this, it has become the first Indian movie of 2025 to cross﷽ Rs 500 crore gross collection in 12 days and also one of the fastest Hindi language films to achieve this.
Chhaava is Vicky Kaushal’s highest-grosser, and Rashmika’s third-highest-grosser after Pushpa 2: The Rule and Animal.
Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Pictures, Chhaava is based on the life of the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film is adapted from the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant.
Vicky played🐟 the titular role, while Rashmika Mandanna played his wife Maharani Yesubai. Akshaye Khanna portrayed the role of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb and Diana Penty was seen as Aurangazeb's daughter Shehzadi Zinat-un-Nissa Begum. Ashutosh Rana essayed Sarsenapati Hambirao Mohit✅e, and Divya Dutta played Soyarabai.
