Nikhil Khurana, known for his role in Made In Heaven 2 is set to debut in the film ‘Sanaa’ with Radhika Madan under the direction of National Film Award Winner Sudhanshu Saria, says that he makes sure to buy all the essentials for Diwali, well in time. He also says that food on Diwali is another thing that he looks forward to.
“Shopping for Diwali is easy. I buy candles, lights, lamps, and some small fireworks. When I was a child, I used to buy risky꧟ and loud crackers, but now that I’m an adult, I prefer spending time with my family, praying, and being thankful for what we have.ཧ I enjoy eating sweets like Garden Chamcham and coconut-based treats like Naril Burfi,” he says.
Talking about Dhanteras, he says, “This Dhanteras, I bought a piece of gol✤d as it’s considered auspicious. I got a nice black suit for a film festival in Goa after Diwali.”
As for Diwali, he has everythiℱng planned! “For Diwali, I’ll wear a traditional kurta in a solid colour. Some people find the festive season hectic, but I don’t think so. I find it fun and enjoy being with family and friends, surrounded by lights. I wish every day could be like Diwali, where people express themselves, are kind to each other, and enjoy the present moment without worries about the future. Overall, I think it’s the best time, and I don’t feel stressed at all.”
