꧟Sabalenka, 26, defeated unseeded Marie Bouzkova of Czechia 6-3, 6-4 on Friday to enter back-to-back Brisbane finals. She finished runners-up to Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan in the 2024 final.

𝐆Earlier in the day, 17-year-old Andreeva survived a three-set thriller to beat former world number two Ons Jabeur of Tunisia 6-4 7-6 (7-2).

ꦅLast year at the French Open, Andreeva stunned Sabalenka 6-7 (5-7) 6-4 6-4 to become the youngest player since Martina Hingis in 1997 to reach a Grand Slam semi-final.

🦹Polina Kudermetova, another Russian in the last four, will take on Ukraine's Anhelina Kalinina for a place in the final. Qualifier Kudermetova defeated American Ashlyn Krueger while Kalinina got the better of Aussie Kimberly Birrell in their respective quarter-final matches.
