💧A dismal week for Italian clubs in Europe had already seen Milan, Atalanta and Juventus eliminated from the Champions League.

ꦐAnd Roma were at risk of joining them after a draw in the first leg in Portugal, with Porto then scoring first on Thursday through Samu Aghehowa's sensational overhead kick.

𓂃But Dybala scored twice in the space of five minutes before half-time to put the Serie A side in control of the tie.

🐲Roma missed a series of opportunities to add to their lead despite Porto's Stephen Eustaquio being sent off, and they had a narrow escape when Samu hit the post on the counter-attack.

ꦫThere was to be no smash and grab from the visitors, though, as a clinching third goal from Niccolo Pisilli meant substitute Devyne Rensch's late own goal did not prove costly.

🧜Late drama in the match between Bodo/Glimt and Twente was rather more consequential as three goals in stoppage time took their second leg to extra-time before the Norwegian outfit won 5-2 and 6-4 on aggregate.

🎉Glimt were heading out as the second leg was level at 1-1 when the clock passed 90 minutes, only for a chaotic sequence to see the tie tilt back and forth.

🎃Mees Hilgers' own goal levelled the tie in the second minute of stoppage time, before Brice Wembangomo struck two minutes later to have Glimt on the brink. Sem Steijn's 96th-minute riposte kept Twente in the tie and triggered an additional period.

ဣThe margins remained fine, but the goal decision system found in Sondre Fet's favour as Steijn attempted a last-gasp clearance, then a second Twente own goal, this time from Arno Verschueren, gave Glimt breathing space at last.

🍰That tie was rather tighter than the encounter between AZ and Galatasaray that saw the Dutch side advance 6-3 on aggregate.

ꦺAZ were 4-1 up from the home leg before extending their advantage with away goals from Seiya Maikuma and Denso Kasius either side of half-time.

🥃Victor Osimhen responded for Gala within a minute of Kasius making it 2-0 on the night, with Roland Sallai then leveller the second leg at 2-2, yet it was too little, too late for the hosts.
