Clement was dismissed on Sunday after a 2-ꦚ0 home defeat to St Mirren left Rangers 13 points behind Scottish Premier💯ship leaders Celtic.

🗹Rangers also crashed ouꦛt of the Scottish Cup with a shock defeat to second-tier Queen's Park.

Ex-Scotland international ꧅Ferguson, who played for Rangers for 10 years across two spells with the🃏 club, has now been appointed until the end of the season.

He will 🃏be a🦂ssisted by Neil McCann, Billy Dodds and Allan McGregor.

"We appreciate [Ferguson] and his team stepping into the 🍸role at this difficult time," Rangers chief executive Patrick Stewart said.

Ferguson's first match in charge will come against Kilm𒅌arnock on Wednesday.
