India Vs Australia, 4th Test Day 5 Highlights: IND Lose By 184 Runs After Dramatic Last Session Collapse

Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Sira൩j wrecked havoc on day 4 as Australia faltered at 91/6 before some lower-order fightback helped them recover to 228/9 at stumps on day 4. India's hopes were revived by Bumrah and Siraj, who left the Aussie camp worried with some devastating piece of fast bowling.

After a strong second session, India completely lost the plot in the last one. Really poor from them. The batters knew they could not force a result and even then they could not stop playing shots. Sundar did not shield tailenders when he remained the only batter in the middle. Really bad plann✃ing from India. A draw was there to take. Perhaps half an hour more and we would have ended the day. They have thrown this one away.

While India were poor, Australia were brilliant once they found that opening. They kept wickets after wickets and Cummins was the star with his brill𝕴iant captaincy. Took some bold calls and all of them proved to be right. Australia now head to the Sydney Test with a 2-1 lead in the series and t💞hey deserve to be in the lead. Since the Perth Test, they have been the better side by a mile.

Three wickets in both innings, a couple of 40s andꦬ brilliant captaincy. Pat Cummins is the Player of the Match. Right choice made.

A good game of cricket is what we got at MCG. The Test created a record for highest attendance ever in a Test match in Australia and the audience was given full value of their money. Australia rode on Smith's century to get to 474 in first innings. India replied with a maiden ton from 21-year-old Nitish Kumar Reddy but they conceded a 105-run lead. Bumrah picked five but some brilliant lower order resistance took Australia to 234 in the second 𒊎innings. India needed to chase down 340 to win. Losing the seniors in the opening session meant India could not try to chase the target. So, they attempted a draw but it was a horrible attempt. Two top scorers Jaiswal and Pant were dismissed trying to play shots in a match where India were trying to force a draw. Australia affected a last session collapse and India lost the game by 184 runs with about half an hour of play remaining.
