The rescue operations are in full 💧swing in Odisha’s Balasore after horrific train accident.

In one of the deadliest train accidents, over 230 people have💟 been kꦰilled until now and over 900 injured. 

The rescue operations as per NDTV⛎ report have been ramped up with fresh deployment of 200 ambulances, and 45 mobile health teams. 50 additional doctors, 25 teams of doctors from Cuttack's SCB Medical College, while forensic medicine specialists have also been mobilised.

The videos from the spot also showed National and State Disaster Response Forces actively 🍬engaged in the search 𓄧and rescue operation. 

NDRF posted visuals of manual and canine searches iꩲnside the damaged train coaches, and also of its personnel using cutters to access mangled coaches.

NDRF Director General (DG) Atul Karwal told news agency PTI that his teams are wꦡ🔜orking in coordination with the Odisha state government and railway authorities.

"As we understand, our job requires heavy lifting as railway coaches have climbed on one another. Some heavy lift cranes are being brought in by the state gov♏ernment while we are mobil♈ising more cutters and equipment as we speak," Karwal was quoted as having said.

The rescue teams are equipped with stretchers, gas and plasma cutters, lifting pads, first-aid kits and other equipment, besides sniඣffer dogs, NDRF Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Manoj Kumar Yadav has said, the report mentioned.

The report 🌊said nine teams of NDRF - more than 300 rescuers - are working in coordination𒀰 with SDRF and other agencies.
