Soren's senior counsel Arunabh Chowdhury told Pš¹TI, "Bail has been granted to Soren. The court has held that prima facie he is not guilty of the offence and there is no likelihood of the petiātioner committing an offence when on bail."
The high coušrt had reserved its decision on Soren's bail plea on June 13.
The lawyer of Soren had repeš¦atedly applied in the court for bail in the alleged scam case of 8.5 acres of land in bargain.
