In a dazzling celebration of cinematic excellence, Martin Scorsese's epic crime drama, "Killers of the Flower Moon," has been named the best film of 2023 by the New York Film Critics Circꦬle.
This m൲arks the third time Scorsese has received this prestigious accolade 🌃from his hometown critics, with his earlier triumphs being "GoodFellas" in 1990 and "The Irishman" in 2019.
Apart from this, the critics also honored 🌃Lily Gladstone with the Best Actress award for her com🀅pelling performance alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the same movie.
"Killers of thꦅe Flower Moon," a $200 million Apple Studios production based on David Grann’s nonfiction bestseller, chronicles the Osage murders of the 1920s.
𝓡Christopher Nolan's blockbuster drama, "Oppenheimer," also garnered significant recognition, securing the Best Dir♔ector award for Nolan and Best Cinematography for Hoyte van Hoytema.
The awards will be handed out a🙈t a di🌞nner on 3 January. Last year, the critics named Todd Field’s “Tár” the best film of 2022.
