Hamas has said it will delay the release of more hostagesβ›Ž after accusing Israel of violating their ceasefire deal. As per reports, Hamas said that Saturday's scheduled release would not go ahead.

In a statement, Abu Obeida, spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, said: "During the past three weeks, the resistance leadership has monitored the enemy's violations and failure to abide by the terms of the agreement, including delaying the return of the displaced to the northern Gaza Strip, and targeting them with shelling and gunfire."

🌳He added: "The handover of the Zionist prisoners who were scheduled to be released next Saturday, February 15, 2025, will be postponed until further notice, and until the occupation commits to and compensates for the past weeks retroactively. "We affirm our commitment to the terms of the agreement as long as the occupation commits to them."

Trump On Gaza

Meanwhile, US President Donald TrumpπŸ…· reiterated his pledge to take control of the Gaza Strip told the media, "I'm committed to buying and owning Gaza. As far as us rebuilding it, we may give it to other states in the Middle East to build sections of it. Other people may do it through our auspices. But we're committed to owning it, taking it, and making sure that Hamas doesn't move back. There's nothing to move back into. The place is a demolition site. The remainder will be demolished.

π’ŠŽTrump said Arab nations would agree to take in Palestinians after speaking with him and insisted Palestinians would leave Gaza if they had a choice.

🌸β€œThey don't want to return to Gaza. If we could give them a home in a safer area β€” the only reason they're talking about returning to Gaza is they don't have an alternative. When they have an alternative, they don't want to return to Gaza."
