Deepening the fear of a global trade war, President Trump has announced his plan to reciprocate tariffs with every country they trade with which is to increase US tariffs to match the tax rates that other countries charge on imports as h🔴e hopes to eliminate any trade imbalances.

The US is facing huge trade imbalances with countries, especially with China. With India, the U𒁏S has a trade deficit of USD 35.31 billion in goods in 2023-24. To bridge this gap, the US President is imposing these duties.

Trump has announced ൩a 25 per cent duty on all steel and aluminium imports. It will come into effect from March 12. He threatened the BRICS countries wit🌟h 100% tariffs from the United States if they attempted to undermine the dollar.

Trump claimed that BRICS is over and reiterated his threa♛t that the US would cease trade with BRICS countries if they attempt to replace the US dollar with an alternative currency.

Trump earlier said that the members of the BRICS grouping could face 100% tariffs 𓃲if the play games.
