Oscar Nominated Emilia Perez To Screen At Red Lorry Film Festival In India

The Red Lorry Film Festival is returning with its second edition and this time it will take place in Hyderabad apart from Mumbai. The film festival will showcase globally acclaimed films, including Oscar-nominated Emilia Perez, The Girl With The Needle, and Queer.

Selena Gomez starrer Emilia Perez is the major highlight of the festival ꩵas it scripted history by receiving 13 Oscar nominations, which is the highest ever for a non-English-language film.

The Girl With The Needle and Queer♑ are also must-watch titles. The former has received an Academy Award nomination for Best Feature Film. It has been raved for its storytelling and performances.

Queer🎉 is a historical romance drama set in 1940s Mexico City. Starring Daniel Craig, it has been nominated for Golden Globe’s Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama.

Apart from Selena Gomez, Emilia Perezꦬ also stars Zoe Saldana, Karla Sofia Gascon, and Adriana Paz in pivotal roles. Gascon is the first transgender woman nominated for an Oscar for acting.

Emilia Perez✃ won the Jury Prize and a joint Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival.
