Zendaya Joins The Voice Cast Of Shrek 5; Check Out First Teaser Of The Highly Anticipated Animated Film

Shrek 5 is one of the much-anticipated animated movies. Hollywood star Zendaya is also part of Shrek 5🍸. She has joined the voice cast of the upcoming film as Felicia, one of Shrek and Fiona’s triplets.

Universal Pictures made the cast announcement of Shrek 5 on Thursday, sharing the first teaser.

It has been 15 years since the last Shrek🌞 movie was released in 2010. Since then, fans have been waiting with bated breath for the fifth part.

The 27-second-long teaser of Shrek 5ღ opens with a scene of Shrek, Donkey, Princess Fiona and Felicia who have gathered around a magic mirror. Donkey asks, “Who’s the fairest of them all?” The mirror responds, "Why Shrek, of course,” before it shows a montage of Shrek giving comical poses like wearing a pairof cool shades, flaunting his abs and dancing in a skintight black bodysuit.

🀅When Shrek asks, ''Who’s making this stuff?”, Pinocchio replies, “Not me'' a and her nose grows.

In the fifth installment of Shrek♚, Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy will reprise their respective roles as Shrek, Donkey and Princess Fiona.

🦄Walt Dohrn, Conrad Vernon, and Brad Ableson have directed the film, while Gina Shay and Chris Meledandri are the producers.

Shrek 5 🤪is all set to hit the theatres in the United States around Christmas, on December 23, 2026.

The most-loved animated franchise began with Shrek in 2001, and it soon became a cult animated film and also won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. It was followed by Shrek 2 (2004), Shrek the Third (2007) and Shrek Forever After (2010).

Shrek and Fiona’s triplets were first introduced in the third installment of Shrek.

Coming back to Zendaya, she will star in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film The Odyssey, 🌠which also stars Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, and Charlize Theron.
