Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 8: Vicky Kaushal's Film Crosses Rs 300 Crore Mark Worldwide

Chhaava Box Office: Vicky Kaushal's film's total box office collection in India stands at Rs 242.75 crore nett. It has already crossed the Rs 300 crore mark globally.

Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. The film is performing extremely well in India and worldwide. After a significant drop on Day 7, Chhaava witnessed a slight growth on Day 8, i.e on its second Friday. It earned Rs 23.5 crore on the eighth day of its release. So, the total box office collection of Chhaavaꦇ in India stands at Rs 242.75 crore nett, as reported by Sacnilk.

It needs just Rs 2 crore to beat Uri's lifetime collection, which it will easily cross today. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Uri, starring Vicky Kaushal, made Rs 244.14 crore in the domestic market.

Chhaava had an overall 29.92% Hindi occupancy on Friday, with highest occupancy of 51.49% during the night shows followed by 31.32% occupancy in the evening, and 23.09% and 13.76% occupancies during the afternoon and morning shows, respectively.

Chhaava꧒ has already crossed the Rs 300 crore mark globally. It has amassed Rs 338.75 crore in eight days.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film is adapted from Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel Chhava꧙. Vicky Kaushal played the titular character for which he was hailed by critics and audiences.

ܫThe film also starred Rashmika Mandanna who played Maharani Yesubai, Akshaye Khanna was seen as Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, Ashutosh Rana played Sarsenapati Hambirao Mohite, Divya Dutta was seen as Soyarabai, and Diana Penty portrayed Aurangzeb's daughter, Zinat-un-Nissa Begum.
